These Terms govern your use of odito.in (the "Service"), operated by Artifact Stonex Pvt. Ltd. ("Odito", "we"). By creating an account or posting an ad, you accept these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. Who can use Odito
- You must be 18 or older and resident in India.
- You must provide accurate account details and keep them up to date.
- One account per person. We may suspend duplicate accounts.
2. The Service
Odito is a classifieds platform — buyers and sellers list and contact each other directly. Odito is not a party to any transaction between users, holds no inventory, and does not provide escrow, shipping, or payment processing. Disputes between buyers and sellers are resolved between them.
We act as an "intermediary" under section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000, and follow the due-diligence obligations in the Information Technology Rules, 2021.
3. What you may not list or do
You agree not to post, share, transmit, or otherwise make available any content that:
- Is unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or defamatory.
- Concerns banned items: weapons, controlled drugs, wildlife, counterfeit goods, stolen goods, government IDs, exam materials, sexual content, or anything restricted under Indian law.
- Includes contact details inside the title or description to bypass the chat or the WhatsApp button — see Trust & Safety.
- Infringes another person's intellectual property, privacy, or other rights.
- Harasses, threatens, or impersonates any person.
- Spams, scrapes, or interferes with the Service or its security.
Listings that violate these rules may be hidden, rejected, or removed without notice. Repeat or serious violations result in account termination.
4. Listing rules
- Photos must be of the actual item, not stock images or photos taken from other sites.
- The price you list must be the price you will honour.
- Location must be where the item is. We use this for the hyperlocal feed and the city pages.
- Each ad runs for a fixed window after approval; you can renew it from your dashboard.
5. Verification and the Verified Badge
The Verified Badge is granted after Aadhaar OTP verification. It is a fraud-safety signal, not a guarantee — buyers should still meet sellers in person and inspect items before paying. See Trust & Safety.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the listings and messages you post. You grant Odito a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to run the Service, including in search results and on auto-generated city / category pages. You can delete a listing at any time; cached and search-engine snapshots will fall out over time.
7. Reporting and takedown
Users may report listings via the in-app report tool. Rights holders may notify the Grievance Officer of infringing content at grievance@odito.in; we follow the takedown procedure in Rule 3(1)(d) of the Information Technology Rules, 2021.
8. Free service; future paid features
Odito is currently free for all users. Future paid features (featured listings, lead enquiries, premium plans) will be opt-in and clearly priced at the time of purchase. There are no automatic charges today.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, that are reported for fraud, or that we are required to remove by law. You may close your account at any time and request data erasure via the Privacy Policy.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is". We do not warrant that any listing, seller, buyer, or chat counterpart is accurate, honest, or safe. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Odito and its directors, employees, and processors are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (including loss of profits, data, or opportunity) arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you have paid Odito in the prior twelve months — which is zero where the Service is free.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify Odito from third-party claims arising out of your listings, messages, or use of the Service in breach of these Terms.
13. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Indian law. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nagaur district, Rajasthan, India.

15. Changes
We may update these Terms; material changes will be announced on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
