Yes — every feature is free until Odito crosses 10,000 users. No listing fees, no premium plans, no boost upsells, no ads sold against your behaviour. After 10K we will introduce a small set of paid features (featured listings, lead enquiries) — all opt-in, all clearly priced. See Terms §8.
Open your profile after signing in, tap "Verify Aadhaar", and complete a one-time Aadhaar OTP. Your Aadhaar number is encrypted at rest and never shown to buyers — only the green badge appears. The check is currently in soft-launch mode (manual review); a UIDAI-authorised KYC provider will be wired in before mass-rollout.
You can search and browse every city, town and village across India today. Posting is gated on each city being marked active; expansion happens liquidity-first (a new city goes live only after the previous one is thriving). Yes. Application servers + the MariaDB database are hosted on Hostinger India (Mumbai region) — required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Listing photos are stored on Cloudinary's global CDN for fast delivery. Full disclosure on the Privacy Policy; you can also exercise your DPDP rights (access / correct / erase) from /dpdp/requests.
